In the video below, I talk about three commandments Jesus gave us—three things we hear throughout Scripture. Most believers remember the first two, but we often forget the third one Jesus clearly commanded.
Below are the three biblical commands and the three simple ways you can join God’s mission in your everyday life.
1️⃣ Love God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. (Discipleship)
Jesus said this is the greatest commandment.
📖 Mark 12:30
“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.”
Loving God means putting Him first—“Your Kingdom come, Your will be done”—not my will, but His.
2️⃣ Love others as yourself, becoming an ambassador of Christ. (Evangelism)
When we love God, we naturally love people. We serve, listen, encourage, show compassion, and represent Jesus wherever we go.
📖 Mark 12:31
“The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”
And Paul reminds us:
📖 2 Corinthians 5:20
“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us.”
3️⃣ Go and make disciples, multiplying the Kingdom and making an eternal difference. (Disciple Making)
This is the command we often overlook. Jesus didn’t just say go to church—He said go make disciples.
📖 Matthew 28:19–20
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
Three Ways YOU Can Join God’s Mission Today
1️⃣ Join God’s Mission Personally
Love God first. Surrender your will. Seek His purpose above your own.
Pray, “Lord, what are You doing—and how can I join You?”
2️⃣ Become an Ambassador of Christ
Because you love God, you love others.
You share Jesus with humility and compassion.
Your life reflects His heart in everyday moments.
3️⃣ Make an Eternal Impact
You do this by multiplying disciples.
Sharing the Gospel.
Investing in people.
Helping others follow Jesus the same way someone helped you.
This is joining God’s mission—not building our own, but stepping into His.
God’s mission is simple:
Love Him. Love people. Make disciples.
And the beautiful part is this:
we get the honor and privilege of being part of what He is already doing.
